Psyllium Seeds

Psyllium seeds are the small, glossy seeds of the Plantago ovata plant, native to India and parts of the Mediterranean. These seeds are encased in a fibrous outer coating known as the husk, which is the most commonly used part for dietary supplements. However, the whole psyllium seed also offers health benefits and is sometimes used in natural health products or ground into powder.
